rather than power or speed. After a couple hours of repetition, he knew without feedback, no more gains could be had.

He plopped down on the prayer mat and started his nightly harvest of spiritual power. As he pulled in the essence of spiritual energy, he pushed it into his Dantian, condensing the Spiritual Energy. And when that filled up, he had the energy circle his Dantian, looking for a path to one of his Linking Meridians.

Chapter 7: The first class, or Oompa, Loompa, doom-pa-dee-do

Little Bo charged into the spartan bedroom that Arthur was using, hoping to wake up the sleepy head. But to his surprise, he found that his new friend was meditating. "Are you cultivating?"

Arthur creaked open an eye, "I was - what's up sprout?"

Bo totally did not get that he was not supposed to interrupt cultivation. "Your White Belt class is starting in soon, it is rude to come in late!"

With a laugh, Arthur admitted his mistake, "Right, right you are, class first, cultivation second. Do you meditate yet?

Bo's chest puffed out, "Yes, but I can't show you, it is a secret." And his chest emptied as he realized what he said.

Arthur laughed again, "Okay, I'll keep the secret for you. Mum's the word."

Bo was still worried, "You won't tell my dad, will you?"

Arthur got up, "No, but you should. You have to understand how serious cultivation is. But that is up to you. Take me to my class!"

Bo walked him the down the hallway to the gym. Inside there were a handful of 4 year olds and Liu Peter. All of the kids had white belts, so Arthur was quickly able to determine why Peter had been surprised the night before. Peter grinned, "Class, this is Arthur, he will be joining us as a fellow student."

Arthur had to smile, there was no need to take things out on the kids, "Hey, please bear with me - I'm old and I never had a chance to learn Kung Fu. Please help me learn." He bowed to the class.

The class started with warming up via breathing exercises whilst stretching. Arthur paid careful attention to Peter's hand positioning, trying to replicate them. In his mind, these Pranas and Mutras might be related to a cultivation method.

Peter then led them through a series of different katas. There were nine of them that the class had already been introduced to and there were three more to learn. When the students could master all twelve, they would win there white belt. At the end of the class, they all stood in a circle, with each student attempting to show mastery of a kata.

Arthur intently watched the feedback Peter gave each child, trying to see if could pick up what Peter was coaching. He had coached some kid sports in the past - if you could see past the specifics, you could see what they were trying to teach.

After all of the kids left, Arthur had some questions for Peter, "Teacher, when do they spar?"

Peter looked back, "These ones, not until they have hit puberty."
